About this project.
I graduated with a research project on cross media ownership and the intertwining of media and politics. As case study I used Rupert Murdoch's company 'News Corporation' and 'the Leveson inquiry.' The Leveson Inquiry is a judicial public inquiry into the culture, practices and ethics of the British press following the 'News International' phone hacking scandal, chaired by Lord Justice Leveson. Based on the structure of 'News Corporation', revealed emails, transcripts of hearings and witness statements in the Leveson Inquiry I present a series of visual 'game'cards. This game, inspired by the game quartet, represents the power of Murdoch's companies and their relationship with politicians. I also pre-selected possible quartets and made a series of posters with it.
